Just a quick note before you begin: If you are under 18, please move on to the next site. This blog and all it's contents were written by an adult, presumably for adults. Since I do not intend to censor my writing, whether it contains sex, violence, or gratuitous references to whatever other potentially offensive thing out there, I ask that you please enter with caution and your eyes wide open. Why Do I Blog?

Why do I post unedited pieces of my work, pieces I should probably be embarrassed to share because I know they are mostly drivel - unpolished and unloved scraps of muse that might otherwise fall to the wayside because they were only practice meant to keep my mind in the conscience process of writing?
Five EASY Ways To Become A Confident Writer: "Develop a writing practice. You can only become comfortable with the act of writing by writing — a lot. When you write each day, you become comfortable putting words on the page, and doing it day after day, after day. The only way to do this is to do it. It's the same with any skill — use it, or lose it. Sports people know this. So do pianists, ballet dancers and artists. You must practise."
A couple of reasons come to mind.

One, even though some of it truly deserves to be dissected until it no longer breathes, it may at least serve as inspiration to someone, possibly even myself;

Two, I want to watch my journey to becoming a full-time published writer unfold before my eyes;

And three, I am willing to do all this publicly because:
Five EASY Ways To Become A Confident Writer: "Sharing your writing takes courage. However, unless you're prepared to share your writing, you can’t become a confident writer. Writers write to be read, after all."
Besides, I've found it's actually quite fun.
