I spent a good hour last night, in bed and waiting for sleep to claim me, plotting out the next few scenes. It helped a little, but probably only because it was the direction the characters wanted to go anyway. I wonder if other writers have as much trouble controlling their characters as I do?
Don't write action scenes. Write suspense scenes that require action to resolve. ~ John Rogers
